There are many great Xamarin resources out there, however, many lack the real world guidance on how everything fits together and when you should use certain tools or techniques.
Enterprise Xamarin.Forms Video Course, is taking my knowledge of ~9,000hrs of full time Xamarin.Forms development, from solo, to large teams, on how to develop an application at an enterprise or business level. Hopefully giving you a head start, and helping you avoid, all the same mistakes, and expensive learning curves I did.
This course is not how to do something, there is plenty of documentation for that. This course is about what you should be doing, and why.
If you have any queries about the videos and their content, I will be available to answer your questions directly in email.
In this course, you will learn:
- How to architect your Xamarin.Forms application, project and code.
- How to secure your app
- Profile and test it’s performance
- Setup Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment
- Ensure easy and effective testing of all applicable code
- How to structure your UI
- What to track in analytics
In summary, how to develop an easily maintainable Xamarin.Forms app, that is thoroughly tested, stable and quick to deploy.
Does this cost money?
Yep. This course is available for $50 USD. You can purchase here.
Can I get a refund?
Yep. If you don’t like the material, for any reason at all, even if it is because Mercury is currently in retrograde, just ask for a refund, within the first 30 days of purchase. A 100% refund will be given. If you’re not getting value out of it, I don’t want to charge you for it.
How is this different from Xamarin University?
Xamarin University is a great resource, and I personally recommend taking it, if you are new to Xamarin. XamarinHelp Academy moves you to the next level. It includes:
- Videos about how things work and how to build apps, in real business environments.
- How the technologies fit together, and when to use them.
- Pre-recorded videos, normally 10 min in length. (total of ~1.5hrs)
- Private Slack channel, if you have any questions.
Is this suitable for Xamarin beginners?
It is recommended you will have at least developed one Xamarin.Forms app before. If you are completely new to Xamarin.Forms, I recommend you look at Xamarin University first.
Are you affiliated with Xamarin and/or Microsoft?
No. I am a Microsoft MVP, Xamarin MVP and Xamarin Certified Developer, but none of these mean Microsoft or Xamarin endorse me, or this course.
Who are you to offer this course?
Xamarin.Forms has been my full time job, and my after work and weekend hobby, for 3 years, I have been a .NET developer for 14 years. I have submitted PR’s to the Xamarin.Forms code base, helped develop 5 large apps, from startup to Enterprise. I have been consistently blogging for over 2 years, answer questions on Twitter, StackOverflow and the Xamarin Forums.
How do I learn more?
Have a look at the course in here, at XamarinHelp Academy.
I hope you enjoy 🙂
